April Goal = Stop being a CHUNK.

That is how much I weigh currently. 167lbs and 6 ounces. This is the heaviest I've ever been in my entire life and it's too much. I remember last summer when I weighed 145lbs....GEEZE.

My goal weight is 125lbs. Why? Because I was semi-happy at 132lbs and figured why not? I was almost to a size 4 at one point, and I was very excited....but hell, I was excited to be down to a 6 since I had hovered at a 12 for several years. Well, I'm back up to the 12 and afraid that something might happen to the pants I have and thus require me to go buy new pants that probably will be a bigger size...UGH. (No offense to the 12's--it's just I'm a pear-shape and the extra weight goes to the hips/butt area and looks horrid). And look, I made a ticker:

My goal for April is to lose 7lbs (and 6 ounces). I bought two Jillian Michaels dvds a few weeks ago and have decided to start off on those. They are the Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism dvd (which almost killed me) and No More Trouble Zones, which I have not done yet, but I am sure will almost kill me as well. The latter is the weight video, so we'll see how that goes.

I hope to go back to my elliptical some day, but for now, my motivation is low and videos make me slightly less bored. So there you go. If you are asking "why Jillian Michaels," the answer is: I have no idea. I don't watch The Biggest Loser, so that didn't motivate me. I think her covers were just colorful and they drew my eye to it. TRUTH.

  1. *thumbs up*

  2. After reading your blog post I decided that I should de-chunkyfy myself and I'm signing up for swimming classes. Yay! This way, I HAVE to do it since I payed money for them. Only $50 bucks for 9 weeks at our local community center -- not bad!

  3. I'm happy to inspire! Let's all lose weight together! Surely it will be fun...ahem.

  4. Hehehe... "de-chunkyfy"

    I love the word.

  5. Surely, Sam. So much... fun.

Yes, I do enjoy using proper English vocabulary.

  6. I have no problem. I like the word anyway.
